Makeup & Hairstyling Service Policies, Terms and Conditions
THE CONTRACT will be signed by the person booking services for a particular session, and will specify the location, date, time, number of persons receiving hair styling/makeup service, and what time each person will have reserved. If services for more than one person are being booked, all deposits must be paid at the time of contract signing to guarantee each reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Bridal Makeovers reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable.
This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artists arrive for the appointment.
Appointments canceled or changed within 60 days of wedding day will not be eligible for a refund on deposits.
DOUBLE BOOKING CLAUSE
Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if prior bookings change time and or locations and it causes tardiness or inability to perform services for your booking we adhere to the FCFS (The first to have come is the first to be served) policy whereby the requests of clients are attended to in the order that they reserve their services, without other biases or preferences. You will be provided with the services of 1-2 experienced hair and makeup Bridal Makeovers team members if Aradia Vive cannot personally provide you with services for your event. Aradia's (Makeup Artist) obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control.
BOOKINGS
To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a $50 deposit due at the time of signing. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup and hairstyling times will only be reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received.
BOOKING TIMES
Contract will contain a start time and end time initialed and approved by client. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed time limit. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional hairstyling and makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the hairstylist and or makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup and hair appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by makeup artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair or bar stool is requested.
If getting hair done in an up-do, half-up style, or curls, your hair must have been already blown dry. If the style you choose is a blow-out, your hair must be damp. The stylist will need a work area with a chair near an outlet in a no walk-through traffic area. Good light and a mirror is a plus! BRIDAL MAKEOVERS will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location. All hair services prices are subject to change due to difficulty, length or thickness of hair, extensive curling iron work. The prices listed in your package are starting from prices. Remember to where a button down shirt so you don't mess up your style while getting dressed. Please remember that formal hairstyles work better if hair is a "bit" oily. A dry shampoo will be applied in order for the hair to look clean and fresh.
LIABILITY
All brushes, tools and makeup/hair products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Bridal Makeovers by Aradia from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
PAYMENT
The final balance is due in cash on the day of the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are: cash only.
