With their dramatic bustles and lace corsets, some of the gowns looked like they were snatched straight from the 18th century. Of course, they were accompanied by these gorgeous bun-chignon hybrids—the volume and slightly undone feel added some modern drama to the looks.
Conjuring 1930′s Cecil Beaton portraits while creating her wispy, imperfect buns… Embellishments in the form of feathers lent ethereal beauty to the gowns. Oh so ornate and opulent!
For vintage-inspired weddings held in a romantic setting, modern hair with a Marie Antoinette-inspired wedding dress is the hot bridal look for 2013.
Or perhaps a modified Marie Antoinette bouffant. The look is all about height, which involves teasing, hairspray, and a talented hairstylist to provide volume in all the right places.
